Family Legacy

Over 40 years ago Kelly Brothers (KBI) was founded through the vision and passion of Danny Kelly, along with his brother Tim. Danny continued to own and manage the company after Tim’s life took him across the U.S. to the Northwest. Danny, a commercial hard hat diver with vast marine experience and a propensity for problem solving and customer satisfaction, was joined by his sons Dane and Travis Kelly in the family business. Through the years, working alongside their father, Dane and Travis gained valuable hands on experience while honing their leadership and customer service skills. They are passionate about the business and legacy created by their father and are now the co-owners of Kelly Brothers. The company continues to grow and prosper under their guidance. Dane and Travis share in the responsibility of shaping KBI for the future. They promote strong core values and hard work. This second generation of family-ownership is committed to continuous improvement and growth resulting in better-quality and innovative solutions for you.

What our Clients are Saying

Kelly Brothers was commissioned to construct a meandering 1,200 lineal foot elevated boardwalk, through our environmentally sensitive wetland. Our goal was to construct an elevated boardwalk and shell paths through this coastal habitat while respecting the mangrove forest, salt marsh, as well as the oak hammock uplands. The chorography technique Kelly Brothers created was truly impressive. As a result, there was no disturbance or destruction to any part of the surrounding area.

What our Clients are Saying

Congratulations to the team for a great project. The KBI crew was outstanding. It is rare that a crew completes a dredge project without the need for a punch list at the end.  Thanks to Jake, Travis, and especially to Raul and his crew.
